As used in our Doerle and Twinplex Reproduction Sets
A high quality "black" commercial grade phenolic sheet material, highly
reminiscent of 1920's Ebonite, with a dull satin finish. It is an
excellent composite plastic very similar to Tufnol and sometimes
incorrectly known as Bakelite.
The material is ideal for reproduction vintage radio front and base
panels and is widely used as an electrical insulator for circuit boards.
The material is extremely rigid, and has low moisture absorbtion and is easily machined.
